If a thermometer filled with elemental mercury breaks in a classroom in this state, the Maine DEP would be called in to advise on clean-up. There have been situations where schools have been closed and hazardous waste contractors have been called in to assist in proper mercury removal.

Those same students, who have been evacuated from their classroom, can go to their dentist after school and have the same elemental mercury placed in their mouth in the form of an amalgam filling!!!!!!!

Having an undergraduate degree in analytical chemistry with the understanding that mercury combined with four dissimilar metals sitting in saliva could not be stable, therefore always emitting mercury vapor, led to an informed choice in 1983 by a dentist from Maine to never again use mercury fillings in his practice.

Thousands of dentists across the U.S. and world also have made this choice, along with Norway, Sweden and Denmark, which have banned amalgam outright.

To this day, there has not been one situation where mercury amalgam has been used or needed in any dental procedure in these practices. To this day there is still no credible scientific data that proves amalgam’s safety.

Since the American Dental Association at last admits that mercury vapor leaks out continuously from amalgam fillings, and before we expose another child to mercury vapor, the burden of proof of safety must be placed on the ADA to show us the science.

DO NOT underestimate the damage your dentist has done to your system by inserting black mercury fillings into your teeth.

My amalgams have been out thirteen years now and STILL the remnant mercury bubbles up into my jaw tissues especially in areas where there was once a large mercury filling.  Mercury vapour migrates, so do miniscule drops of it into the jaw tissue too, and there it sits for years often called amalgam tatoos.  ANY mercury in you is a heavy metal poison and needs removing under SAFE conditions--- it is so dangerous!

Why are they still using it then??  Dentists are not using it so much because of consumer demands for white ones. But they did use it because it was cheap and apparently strong BUT it is highly poisonous and remains secretly poisoning you until the day you die.

Another reason for its continued use especially now in the USA is because of litigation fears.  IT would be bigger than tobacco!!

I have recently had three patients in for counselling all proclaiming that they have IC.  Their doctors say they have IC!

So,    their doctors were wrong!

It takes me two hours to counsel women who, by the time they get to me, have 'been there and done that'-- they think!

Despite swearing they have read and practised what I say in my books- and no one is allowed to come for counselling unless they have been practising my work for at least one month- few women actually have properly practised what I preach.

Two of the three 'IC' victims turned up in jeans!! so this means that heat and bruising from the knot will certainly be influencing the situation.

In looking at the photocopies of urine and vaginal tests it was quite obvious that very low grade bacteria were present.  YET the urologists, labs and doctors were impotent in pointing this out. 

A third woman had had disgraceful investigations of the bladder and been told she had IC---BUT no one had done a vaginal swab or discussed hormone replacement therapy.  She was 53 and began her menopause ten years previously. She was in constant bladder pain, very dry and with other menopausal symptoms.

I sent her home to show the GP and specialists what I had discovered and she will now be doing well on the cream to revitalise this atrophied vagina. As the skin there improves so will the urethral opening and the bladder tone. The bladder pain will go.

IC is now the first thing urologists reach for as a diagnosis for anyone with ongoing, unsorted bladder pain. They used to call it urethral syndrome. They are wrong on both counts.

Do NOT agree to instillations or dilatations, read up why in my books. These two procedures do not work and in fact can cause additional damage to already sore bladder linings.

I am just in despair at the well I seem to be in.

I suspect that I may also now have a yeast infection. I also find that a week before I get my period I start to get period pain, fever, back ache and my cystitis becomes worse. The doctors have been hopeless and all they have given me are anti biotics and anti depressants which don't seem to help.

Periods once monthly do indeed increase chances of bladder infections and a bout of Vaginal Thrush. Its simple really, and my book on Candida explains in more detail, but the vagina is naturally mildy acidic.

The monthly presence of blood which is alkaline creates the environment which Thrush adores.  So with a friendlier habitat it can grow at a greater rate. The trick is to inhibit the alkalinity. My Candida book has several suggestions on achieving this which are too numerous to mention in a blog.

Blood also contains nutrients for bacteria. Blood is a constituent of a blood Agar plate upon which bacteria are grown to help give a bacterial diagnosis for bladder infections.  Bacteria are nourished by the lab nutrients and flourish into a colony; this same process happens in the vulval opening so bacteria and fungi increase their numbers resulting in Cystitis or Candida or both.  Just a total misery.

"Candida / Yeast", either the hard copy or the electronic one, is just packed with these sorts of ideas; small as well as serious causes, but nevertheless all contributing to a diminished and strained life.

As for Ginny's fever and backache, there is much more to be diagnosed in these two symptoms since they can point to urological or gynaecological causes and must be properly investigated.

Vaginal Thrush prevents happy sexual relationships every bit as much as bladder infections; if you have these health problems you need both my UTI book and my Candida book.

Dear Angela,

I have suffered from cystitis for as long as I can remember. This current attack has now lasted 3 weeks with no help from the antibiotics the doctor gave me and when I returned to the doctor I was very rudely told that there was nothing else that they could do for me. This has totally taken over my life. The doctors say I drink too much water for anything to show up in my urine....

I downloaded your book this weekend.

I had never before been told not to drink before taking a urine sample,   but with the book it will be great to know exactly where I am going wrong.

Of course urine samples come back negative if you drink before giving a sample. It has to be STRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This means not pale and dilute. Please read my book properly, no skimming! There is much useful information on the taking of urine samples to achieve the best environment and conditions for 'catching' whatever bacteria are there. If you flush them out with lots of drinking, they go down the toilet instead of into the urine sample jar!

I found it astonishing that no doctor had informed this woman years ago about giving a strong sample, but then I find it totally astonishing that jeans manufacturers feel no compunction about causing urinary and vaginal infections and inflammations, pubic and vulval pain!

Women keep buying them and wearing them and getting vaginal thrush, swollen labia, heavy bladders and so much more with such symptoms creating a great workload for urologists and gynaecologists who simply have no means of making the complainant well!

The benefactors of jeans are the manufacturers of them, the sellers of them, the medical profession and the drug companies.  Not you!

Why are you wearing them??You are ill and the others are getting rich! You have a non-existent sex life even though you think jeans make you look sexy! What's the point??

If you look sexy but are too sore and swollen to have sex because of jeans you have to be incredibly stupid not to put 2x2 together and take them off in favour of skirts.

Go read up and get well, oh, and increase the amount of money in your purse as a result!
